Description Porous ceramic block media for biological filtration Designed for marine and freshwater aquariums with a pH of 7.5 or higher. One block has ~10,000 square feet of useable surface area. Reduces toxic ammonia and nitrites to near zero in ponds and all aquariums. Reduces phosphate significantly and dissolved organics. Doped with Aragonite to buffer pH at the bacteria level and prevent acid buildup. Works as only filtration medium or with additional filtration media. Made in the USA
